My approach to architectural photography:

I see buildings and structures first as the
materialization of  the ideas of the architect.

My picture are more or less abstract representation of the object (since the photograph is a translation of space into a plane). In time this materialization of the idea will be gone and the picture may stay.

For the viewer who does not have the chance to see the object with his or her own eyes because of time and/or space, I hope to create an adequate representation with my photographs.

While I do prefer certain styles in architecture, I do feel that it is my role to be non judgmental towards them and rather be a true witness
to the creation and the talent of the architects,
designers and the builders
.
